Mixing together two of Fender's most loved amplifiers from the 60's but with a special twist the Bassbreaker 18/30 is unlike any other amplifier Fender have ever made. This amplifier is what we would have expected to gone out if in the 60's they focused on rock players rather than country and jazz.

2 Channel Design

Channel 1 is based on the 30 watt version of a Blackface Fender Deluxe and has all of the high headroom clean tones you could ever need. Made with some small tweaks it does have a bit more of an aggressive midrange in comparison to the original.

Channel 2 is based on a lower wattage 1961 brown Deluxe amplifier that can go from clean to really crunchy and gnarly British style overdrive. If you play blues, rock or pop this amp will most likely cover most of the tones you will ever need with just two channels.

Great Pedalboard Base

Fender deluxe amps have always been known to be great with pedals and the new Bassbreakers are no different. Even with all of the tweaks and modifications done to the circuit it still performs wonderfully with any kind of pedal. Even the overdrive heavy Channel 2 takes boosts, modulation and time based effects like a dream.
2x12" Combo

Built in to a 2x12" combo this amplifier has enough punch and power to fill most studio and gig situations without any issues. The difference here is how they have put the amplifier together to make sure you are getting the best of the American and British tones.
The most obvious change they have made is the use of a semi open back design. This makes sure the lows are tight and responsive much like on some of your favourite British amps while the highs remain rather open and airy like a classic Fender.

Bassbreaker series guitar amplifiers continue Fender's storied lineage with a kind of "parallel evolution" that breaks away from tradition with dark gray lacquered tweed covering, refined pointer knobs and unique circuitry as well as power tubes and speakers hinting at the U.K. amps that "borrowed" Fender circuits in the 1960s. The sound is one of pure tube greatness for today's players.
The two-channel Bassbreaker 18/30 Combo offers the performance of two time-tested Fender classics. Channel One offers pure, bell-like clean tones and warm crunch when driven, thanks to its Blackface Deluxe amp circuitry with extra headroom and 30-watt output. Channel Two's circuit is based on an 18-watt '61 brown Deluxe, offering plenty of power amp overdrive with easily controlled dynamics at "real world" volume levels. An included footswitch allows easy selection between the two, and four EL84 power tubes add a distinctive midrange punch.
With pedal-friendly tube circuitry, simplicity of operation, and updated vintage aesthetics, the Bassbreaker 18/30 Combo is sure to become a modern classic.
