Matchless tailored their Laurel Canyon Reverb 6v6 Combo (black) for the on-the-go musician, optimizing its size for easy portability while maintaining its full tonal range. The design includes controls for Volume, Bass, Mid, Treble, and Master Volume, and is powered by two 12AX7/ECC83's driving a 2 spring reverb tank, with the reverb parallel to the input so there's no reduction in power or tone.
Powered by one 5AR4 rectifier tube, 2 x 6V6s and driven by three 12AX7s. The combination creates an unbelievably robust sound.
The speaker is a made in the UK Celestion Creamback G12H75 at 8 ohms. The speaker outs are comprised of a single 4 Ohm out and an 8 Ohm out, which can only be used individually one at a time.
The standard effects loop is a ¼” send and ¼” return non buffered loop. Only time based effects are recommended such as reverb pedals, delays, chorus, etc. Boost and gain pedals are recommended to be placed in front of the amp to avoid clipping the phase inverter.
