OVERVIEW:

Thru-body staggered stringing provides superior tonal balance, feel, articulation, and sustain. 3-piece set neck. New Gibraltar III bridge offers simplicity and oodles of sustain. Slim, comfortable maple-topped body with fat mahogany tone. A shorter 25-1/10" scale gives it a different feel from the other S guitars. 2 SZ humbuckers. Body and neck binding. Medium frets. Clean looks. Great tone.

All SZ Series models have a shorter 25-1/10" scale length for a distinctive, slinky feel. Thru-body staggered stringing delivers superior tonal balance, feel, articulation, and sustain. The 3-piece set-in neck coupled with the Gibralter III bridge offer enhanced sustain, simplicity, longer string life, and playing comfort. They're all armed with tonally versatile SZ1 and SZ2 pickups combined with the Special-5 switching system.
