Basswood Body

With its black satin finish, aged crème binding, and Gothic cross inlays, the Schecter Demon is a beautifully crafted guitar. The Schecter features a lightweight Basswood body that produces a fat, well balanced tone. The basswood body produces a muscular midrange, with a soft and breathy feel to its sound, creating dynamic tones.

Duncan Designed Active HB-105

The Schecter Demon 6 features a set of Duncan Designed pickups that are based on the popular Seymour Duncan blackout active humbucker, creating excellent lows with soaring highs. The high output pickups offer a loud, tight tone that’s balanced nicely, producing a muddy tone with plenty of bass, mids, and excellent treble. For even more string tension, clarity and sustain, the Demon 6 features a Floyd Rose Special bridge and nut, which can also produce incredible pitch bends and dive bombs.

Maple Neck, Wenge Fingerboard

The Wenge fretboard is naturally oily and works well for any surface that sees frequent human contact. The stray overtones are absorbed into the oily pours, making the sound richer than that of a Maple fingerboard. The Maple neck will withstand the test of time and usage as it has less reaction from environmental changes than other hardwoods. The Schecter Demon 6 also features high quality tuners with a classic design in a lubricated and sealed housing to protect gears for a lifetime.
