Frequently Asked Questions

Why does every guitar from MusicStreet get a free setup? +

Guitars are made of wood and are highly sensitive to changes in climate during transit. A guitar straight from the factory is rarely optimized for playability. Our in-house workshop technicians individually inspect, adjust, and play-test every single instrument (a service worth £75) to ensure it plays perfectly, with low action and spot-on intonation, straight out of the box.

Can I trade in my current gear toward a purchase? +

Yes! We offer a straightforward part-exchange program. You can bring your pre-owned guitars, basses, amplifiers, or effects pedals into our Huntingdon showroom for an on-the-spot valuation, or submit details and photos online to receive a preliminary estimate. The trade-in value can be applied directly to any new or used item in our store.

Do you sell pre-owned and used gear? +

Absolutely. We have a constantly rotating selection of high-quality pre-owned electric, acoustic, and bass guitars, as well as used amplifiers and effects pedals. Every used item is thoroughly cleaned, serviced, and set up in our workshop, and comes with our 3-month warranty.

What are your shipping rates and delivery times? +

We offer free, fully insured UK delivery on all orders over £99. For orders under £99, shipping is calculated at checkout. Most orders are dispatched via tracked, next-day courier services. Because every guitar receives a custom workshop setup before shipping, please allow 1-2 working days for dispatch so our technicians can perfect your instrument.
